Apple's vaunted the iPhone 5—is expected to arrive in Apple stores worldwide in October 2012, approximately one year after the launch of the iPhone 4S.
The iPhone 5 should continue the biennial pattern of issuing a major overhaul the year after a more evolutionary model, like the 3GS and 4S.
